Why This Role Matters We are seeking Lecturers (Level B) (multiple positions) to join the School of Accounting, Auditing & Taxation. We are interested in recruiting candidates with direct and demonstrated research expertise in: Experimental managerial research Archival audit research Imperial tax research Sustainability and climate reporting research These positions are being offered as 5-year fixed term teaching and research convertible tenure track opportunities. If your expertise is in sustainability and climate reporting, the position may be offered as either a balanced Teaching & Research role (5-year contract) or an Education-Focused (EF) role (2-year convertible tenure track contract). The Lecturer position will enable you to build your academic career through high-quality research, excellent teaching and meaningful contribution to the School and Faculty. You will teach across undergraduate and postgraduate programs, undertake impactful research and contribute to the broader academic community. In This Role You Will Deliver high-quality teaching and support positive student learning and employability outcomes. Design engaging learning activities, assessments and resources across a range of learning environments. Contribute to curriculum development, course administration and academic quality assurance. Maintain and develop expertise in pedagogy, disciplinary knowledge and relevant professional requirements. Undertake high-quality independent and collaborative research and contribute to the advancement of disciplinary knowledge (balanced teaching and research positions). Develop research projects and contribute to competitive grant applications (balanced teaching and research positions). Contribute to HDR supervision and the development of students and colleagues. Participate in School and Faculty activities, committees, meetings and seminars. Skills And Experience A PhD in a relevant discipline. Demonstrated experience in teaching and learning at undergraduate and/or postgraduate level. Evidence of teaching effectiveness and a commitment to educational excellence. Experience using educational technologies and contemporary delivery methods. A strong research track record, with evidence of high-quality and impactful research (balanced teaching and research positions). The ability to contribute to research leadership, collaboration and competitive funding applications (balanced teaching and research positions). Relevant engagement with industry and/or the profession. A demonstrated ability to support students from diverse backgrounds and contribute to equity, diversity and inclusion. Strong communication, interpersonal and organisational skills. The ability to collaborate effectively, build relationships and work across disciplines.
