Position: Warehouse Associate Location: Burnaby, BC Employment Type: Full-time, Onsite Shift: Afternoon 3pm - 11:30pm Wage: $21.00 - 25.00 Vacancy: This posting is for an existing, currently open position. The impact you will have: As a Warehouse Associate for Upper Canada Forest Products, you will have the opportunity to expand your skillset and enhance our customer experience. If you are passionate about making a difference, impacting operations efficiencies, operating as a warehouse team, and ensuring our products are distributed safely – this opportunity may be the right fit for you. What you will do: Load, unload, move and stack products by hand and using a forklift. Prepare order for shipment, ensure that the exact number and type of product is loaded and shipped. Handle freight and secure loads in accordance with established safety requirements. Tag, mark, or label stock items and ensure they are placed in correct storage location. As required, deliver product with a small delivery truck. Manage inventory of shipping materials and supplies. Key updated inventory into the ERP system. Report any discrepancies in inventory to management. Maintain organized work area according to policies, procedures, and safety regulations. What you bring to the table: High school diploma or equivalent. Valid drivers license required. Previous forklift experience required. Forklift license and asset but not required. Lumber or panel experience is an asset. Excellent customer service and the ability to work in a team environment. Ability to lift, pull, and push approximately 75lbs repetitively and safely.
