Job Description: Job Summary This position is responsible for loading, unloading, shipping, receiving, scanning, sorting, and stocking packages. He/She may utilize heavy machinery to complete tasks. This position performs other tasks as assigned in a fast-paced environment. Workdays: Monday to Friday (Must be available to work all 5 days) Shift Hours: 4:30 AM to 9:30 AM * (Flexibility with start and finish times required based on operational needs) * Shift Duration: 3-5 hours per day Hourly Wage: $18.30/hr. Responsibilities: Learns and properly executes UPS package handling methods. Loads and unloads UPS packages into trailers or package cars. Sort and stock packages based on postal code Qualifications: Ability to lift up to 70 lbs./32 kgs. Ability to read and memorize postal codes Availability to work flexible shirt hours, up to 5 days per week Warehouse experience - Preferred Must be able to work 25 hours per week Ability to read and memorize postal codes Comfortable working in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS: $18.30/hr. and automatic progression as per the existing Union Collective Agreement to $30.09 per hour after 48 months of service Tuition reimbursement up to $2,000 per semester (subject to eligibility, program approval, and satisfactory academic performance) Weekly Pay via Direct Deposit- Every Friday Personal paid days off (Eligibility Requirements) 2 weeks of paid vacation after 1 year of service (3 weeks after 5 years, 4 weeks after 10 years, 5 weeks after 20 years, and 6 weeks after 25 years) Extended Health Care Benefits (Vision, health, life insurance, and dental benefits after one year of service) Immediate access to UPS ‘Employee Discounts’ Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Employee Referral Bonus Program (conditions apply) Employee Type: Permanent UPS is committed to providing a workplace free of discrimination, harassment, and retaliation.

This position is responsible for the physical handling of packages, including loading, unloading, scanning, and sorting them within a warehouse. The employee must also utilize heavy machinery and maintain efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

Candidates must be able to lift up to 70 lbs and memorize postal codes for accurate sorting. Availability to work a flexible 5-day schedule is required, and previous warehouse experience is preferred.
