Our highly regarded client, a leading international law firm, is seeking a mid-level Commercial Litigation Associate to join their Litigation and Dispute Resolution team in Vancouver. This globally renowned litigation group handles a broad range of corporate, commercial, and regulatory disputes and is led by some of the most well respected practitioners in the country. The team is collaborative, entrepreneurial, and deeply committed to delivering exceptional advocacy and strategic advice to clients. The Opportunity As a member of this litigation team, you will have the opportunity to work on matters spanning the full life cycle of complex litigation, including: Strategic dispute-oriented advice on active commercial matters Negotiations and dispute resolution strategy Mediations and settlement discussions Trial work and arbitration proceedings This is an exceptional opportunity to join a growing and collaborative litigation group where associates are encouraged to take ownership of significant files and develop their advocacy skills while working alongside leading practitioners. Qualifications 4 to 7 years of experience in complex commercial litigation from a national, regional or a reputable boutique law firm Strong analytical, advocacy, and practice management skills Excellent written and oral communication abilities The ability to manage multiple complex litigation matters and work effectively within a collaborative team A strong interest in developing a long-term commercial litigation practice Above average academic credentials and a solid employment history.
