Our esteemed client, one of Calgary's most respected national law firms, is seeking an experienced Senior Securities Law Clerk to join its Corporate Securities team. This is an exceptional opportunity for a detail-oriented professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and is looking for the flexibility of a fully remote position while supporting lawyers across multiple offices. Key Responsibilities As a Senior Securities Law Clerk, your responsibilities will include, but are not be limited to: Preparing, completing, and managing securities filings through SEDAR+, including Reports of Exempt Distribution (Form 45-106F1) Preparing and filing documents through SEDI, TMX LINX, and other applicable regulatory systems Preparing and managing continuous disclosure filings in both English and French Preparing and coordinating: Short Form Prospectuses (NI 44-101) Shelf Prospectuses (NI 44-102), including WKSI filings Medium Term Note Offering documentation, including pricing supplements and term sheets Long Form Prospectuses (NI 41-101) General marketing materials Calculating and coordinating payment of filing fees Applying for CUSIP and ISIN numbers, along with related eligibility requests Liaising with securities regulatory authorities on behalf of both corporate finance and investment fund issuers Coordinating the issuance of press releases through applicable newswire services Liaising with securities regulatory authorities for both corporate finance and investment fund issuers Issuing press releases with applicable newswire services Managing communications with Securities Lawyers and Assistants in Vancouver, Calgary and Toronto Qualifications The successful candidate will possess: A Law Clerk Diploma or equivalent education A minimum of two years of hands-on SEDAR+ filing experience Proven experience preparing, completing, and managing securities filings through SEDAR+, SEDI, and TMX LINX Experience with National Registration Database (NRD) filings would be considered an asset A strong understanding of Canadian securities regulatory requirements and filing processes Skills & Attributes The ideal candidate will be: Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail Able to manage multiple competing priorities and deadlines Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision A strong communicator with excellent written and verbal communication skills Able to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced team environment Flexible and willing to accommodate time-sensitive securities filing deadlines when required Benefits In addition to a competitive compensation package, our client offers an outstanding benefits program, a collaborative and supportive team environment, and the flexibility of working fully remotely while contributing to a sophisticated national securities practice.
