Contract Duration:12 Months Job Description: Our client is seeking Clinical Business Analysts - Clinical Documentation to support the Provincial Clinical Information Solution (CIS) Program, also known as the Symbio Program. The Clinical Business Analyst will support the standardization and implementation of clinical documentation practices. The role will focus on developing clinical standards, documentation templates, order sets, workflows, business requirements, and related clinical content used by physicians, nurses, nurse practitioners, and other regulated healthcare professionals. The successful candidate will work closely with clinical stakeholders, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), project teams, and healthcare professionals to analyze current-state processes, design future-state workflows, identify gaps, and support the implementation and adoption of standardized clinical documentation practices. Key Responsibilities Gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements related to Clinical Documentation. Facilitate workshops and engagement sessions with healthcare providers and clinical stakeholders. Document current-state processes and develop future-state workflows. Conduct business process analysis, gap analysis, use case analysis, and detailed design activities. Support the development and standardization of clinical documentation processes, workflows, procedures, and templates. Collaborate with SMEs and clinical experts to develop and refine province-wide clinical standards. Support the design and implementation of clinical content within the Clinical Information System (CIS). Develop and maintain business analysis documentation, workflows, use cases, user guides, and training materials. Build, validate, and test clinical content within the CIS. Support implementation activities and facilitate adoption of new clinical documentation standards. Work closely with project teams to ensure successful delivery of clinical standardization initiatives. Develop and support stakeholder communication and engagement plans. Analyze business and client requirements and recommend solutions aligned with project objectives. Work across multiple project streams and activities while managing competing priorities. Mandatory Qualifications University degree in Healthcare, Business Administration, Information Technology, or an equivalent combination of education and applicable experience. 5+ years of experience as a Clinical Analyst, Clinical Informatics Analyst, Clinical Business Analyst, or equivalent. 5+ years of experience performing clinical documentation-related requirements gathering, workshop facilitation, use case analysis, business process analysis, detailed design, and business analysis documentation. 5+ years of experience working as a Business Analyst/Clinical Informatics Analyst on a large-scale acute-care digital health transformation or Clinical Information System (CIS)/EHR implementation. Demonstrated experience developing clinical deliverables supporting Therapeutics. Experience working with clinical stakeholders and healthcare providers in an acute-care environment. Preferred Qualifications 5+ years of Clinical Business Analysis experience supporting Clinical Documentation and therapeutic services. Experience with Computerized Provider Order Entry (CPOE). Experience developing or implementing order sets. Experience with clinical documentation workflows and standards. Experience with ancillary clinical services such as: Pharmacy Medical Imaging Laboratory services 3+ years of experience facilitating workshops with healthcare providers to identify business/system requirements and develop user stories or use cases. Strong verbal and written communication, facilitation, and presentation skills. French and English bilingual proficiency is strongly preferred. 5+ years of experience working independently and collaborating with SMEs, project teams, and stakeholders at all organizational levels. Ability to manage multiple projects, workstreams, and competing priorities. 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Office 365, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Outlook, and Teams. 5+ years of experience with Atlassian JIRA in a project environment. Previous experience working with public health authorities and knowledge of the public healthcare environment. Experience with the healthcare system is an advantage.
