We are looking for a Battery Simulation Engineer with a passion for battery systems, modeling, and simulation to support the development of next-generation lithium-ion battery packs. Responsibilities Develop and validate electrical, thermal, and degradation models for lithium-ion battery cells, modules, and packs. Perform 0D/1D battery simulations using tools such as MATLAB/Simulink, GT-SUITE, Amesim, or equivalent. Analyze laboratory test data for model calibration, validation, and parameter estimation. Conduct sensitivity studies, optimization, and performance evaluations under various operating conditions, including fast charging and aging. Collaborate with battery design, testing, controls, and systems engineering teams to improve battery performance and reliability. Prepare technical reports and communicate simulation results to cross-functional stakeholders. Qualifications Master's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Aerospace Engineering, Applied Physics, or related STEM field. 2+ years of experience in engineering simulation. Hands-on experience with battery simulation tools such as MATLAB/Simulink, GT-SUITE, Amesim, or equivalent. Strong understanding of lithium-ion battery fundamentals, thermal behavior, degradation mechanisms, and high-voltage battery systems. Experience with model calibration, parameter estimation, data analysis, and optimization techniques. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Preferred Skills Ph.D. focused on battery systems or electrochemistry. Experience with battery testing, aging studies, and thermal management. Knowledge of SOC/SOH/SOP estimation, Kalman Filters, and embedded controls. Programming experience in Python, MATLAB/Simulink, or C++. V2Soft is an Equal Opportunity Employer ( EOE).
