FULLY REMOTE BUT MUST RESIDE IN CALGARY AND BE AVAILABLE FOR A 3 MONTH CONTRACT Supported Accounts Payable by reviewing vendor invoices and employee expense claims. Prepared and filed GST and sales tax returns. Maintained biweekly cash flow reports and monitored cash requirements. Assisted with Accounts Receivable activities, including customer onboarding, contract reviews, invoicing, and collections. Participated in month-end close, including journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and cost allocations. Analyzed financial results and provided variance and trend analysis to stakeholders. Supported external audits by preparing documentation and responding to audit requests. Improved accounting processes through automation and use of technology and AI tools. Provided guidance and support to members of the accounting team. Partnered with cross-functional teams on projects requiring financial expertise. Assisted with Budget vs. Actual reporting and analysis.
