Bilingual (EN/FR) Content Synopsis Quality Evaluator Location: Montreal, Canada | Remote Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM Montreal time Employment Type: Full-Time | 40 hours/week Overview This is a vendor role with Highspring for a client's team, a Fortune 100 company. This position is remote in Montreal, CA until further notice. Our client is scaling a copy workflow for synopses across its global content catalog. As a Synopsis QC Evaluator, you will be responsible for reviewing synopses for movies and tv titles - assessing whether they meetthe clients Foundational Quality Standard before they go to air. You will evaluate both show-level and episodic synopses, working across a high volume of titles spanning genres,formats, and languages. Responsibilities Review show-level and episodic synopses for accuracy Apply applicable error codes across various quality categories to determine the pass or fail of the generated synopses Assign an error severity rating (1-4 scale) for failed synopses Participate in regular group calibration sessions to resolve evaluation disagreements and align on error code application Attend periodic quality syncs with the team to discuss standards, edge cases, and feedback Minimum Qualifications Native or near-native English and French fluency with exceptional command of written English - grammar, syntax, style, and register Background in film, television, or entertainment - you are deeply familiar with how stories are told across genres, formats (series, films, limited series, reality, documentary, animation), and global content types Strong editorial judgment and attention to detail; you catch what others miss Ability to make confident, consistent Pass/Fail decisions under time pressure Comfort working in structured digital workflows and data entry tools (Airtable experience a plus) Collaborative mindset - calibration is a core part of this role, and alignment with your team matters Preferred Qualifications Prior experience in copy editing, content writing, metadata, localization, or entertainment QC Familiarity with Netflix content across genres and regions Experience working in RLHF/annotation workflows Ability to identify culturally sensitive, inclusive language issues across a wide range of subject matter Schedule Requirements Monday - Friday: 8am - 5pm Montreal local time This Role Offers: Full Time (40 hrs/week), salary By submitting to this position, you are agreeing to be included in our talent pool for future hiring for similarly qualified positions.
