Senior Financial Analyst – 6 Month Contract Key Responsibilities · Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations. · Lead or support monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes. · Prepare financial statements and supporting schedules under US GAAP. · Analyze balance-sheet and income-statement variances. · Maintain general ledger accuracy and resolve accounting discrepancies. · Support external audits, including audit schedules and documentation requests. · Assist with technical accounting research and implementation of new standards. · Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and documentation requirements. · Partner with FP&A, AP, AR, payroll, tax, and operational teams. · Improve close processes, reporting workflows, and accounting-system controls. · Mentor junior accounting staff where applicable. Qualifications · Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. · CPA designation or progress toward CPA is often preferred. · Typically 3–6+ years of progressive accounting experience. · Strong knowledge of US GAAP, general ledger accounting, and financial reporting. · Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics. · Advanced Excel skills; reporting or BI-tool experience is an asset. · Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills How to Apply Click the “Apply Now” button and follow the instructions to submit your resume.When referencing this job, quote #303354.
