About the Company Our client is a publicly traded real estate investment organization with a growing portfolio of assets across Canada. They are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst, Corporate Accounting to join their finance team and support external reporting, corporate accounting, consolidations, treasury, and broader finance initiatives. Location Oakville, ON. Hybrid work model (3 days in office, 2 days remote). Why Work Here Newly created role with broad exposure across Corporate Accounting, Financial Reporting, Treasury, FP&A, and acquisitions Strong visibility to senior finance leadership in a growing public company environment Collaborative team culture with excellent learning and career development opportunities About the Opportunity External & Management Reporting (50%) Prepare and review consolidation entries, corporate accounting transactions, and month-end reporting in accordance with IFRS Assist with quarterly and annual financial reporting, including disclosures, supporting schedules, and management reporting packages Support annual audits and quarterly reviews, acting as a key liaison with external auditors Corporate Accounting & Technical Accounting (30%) Research and apply accounting policies, supporting the analysis of complex accounting matters and transactions Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations related to accruals, intercompany transactions, debt, and other corporate accounts Contribute to process improvements, financial reporting enhancements, and system-related initiatives Treasury, FP&A & Special Projects (20%) Support cash management, banking activities, and treasury-related processes Assist with budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and acquisition-related initiatives Participate in ad hoc projects and cross-functional finance initiatives as the organization continues to grow About You CPA designation (or successful completion of the CFE) 3+ years of accounting and financial reporting experience under IFRS Consolidated financial reporting experience is required Public accounting firm (external audit) training is considered a strong asset Real estate, asset management, financial services, technology, or related industry experience is an asset Salary Range $90,000 - $100,000 + bonus + comprehensive benefits.
