Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Project Estimator role based in Toronto, ON. The Project Estimator will prepare detailed cost estimates for commercial and residential construction projects, including labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor services. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing drawings and specifications, performing quantity take-offs, analyzing bids, and preparing budgets and tender documents. The role involves collaborating closely with project managers, site supervisors, and suppliers to ensure accurate pricing and alignment with project scopes. The Project Estimator will also assist in cost tracking, value engineering, and supporting clients with pricing options throughout the project lifecycle. Qualifications Strong skills in Construction Estimating and Project Estimation for commercial and residential projects. Proficiency in Cost Management and Budgeting to develop and monitor project costs. Effective Communication skills to collaborate with project teams, clients, suppliers, and subcontractors. Experience with construction drawings, specifications, and quantity take-offs. Familiarity with estimating software and MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook). Knowledge of local building codes, construction methods, and industry standards. Post-secondary education in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work on multiple projects with deadlines.
