Your contribution Under the supervision of the Regional Accountant, the incumbent is a trusted member of the Accounting Team. The Accounts Receivable Clerk must maintain good relations with clients and ensures that the amounts due are collected in accordance with internal procedures. Responsibilities of the position Perform accurate data entry of detailed information into financial systems; Performs check cashing and recording; Receive, match, reconcile, incoming cash transactions with invoices; Prepare, enter and process cash receipts in accounting systems; Conduct credit investigations in a discreet and efficient manner, make recommendations; Prepare daily deposits; Generate and submit various reports; Process delinquent files in conjunction with supervisor and store managers; Apply credit limits, and validate variances with supervisor and managers; Responds to customer inquiries; Issue monthly invoices; All other job related tasks. Your qualifications? 3 to 5 years of experience in a related position; Professional degree in accounting or related field (an asset); Strong knowledge of MS Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook); Ability to communicate verbally and in writing in English Location and work environment: The workplace is located at 1120 Old Innes Road, Ottawa, K1B 3V2.
