Role Description The Directeur des ventes de véhicules d’occasion oversees all aspects of the pre-owned vehicle sales department in this full-time, on-site role based in Vaudreuil-Dorion, QC. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing the sales team, setting and monitoring sales targets, and ensuring an outstanding customer experience throughout the sales process. The role involves supervising vehicle inventory, pricing strategy, and merchandising to optimize profitability and turnover. This individual will collaborate with other departments, such as finance and service, to streamline operations and maintain high standards of quality and compliance. The position also requires regular performance reporting, coaching team members, and implementing sales initiatives that align with the dealership’s customer-focused culture. Qualifications Proven experience in automotive sales management, ideally in pre-owned vehicles, with the ability to lead and motivate a sales team. Strong customer service orientation, with skills in relationship building, negotiation, and conflict resolution. Solid understanding of used vehicle inventory management, pricing, and market trends. Ability to analyze sales performance, prepare reports, and develop action plans to achieve targets. Relevant post-secondary education in business, sales, or a related field is an asset. Comfort with dealership management systems and basic office software. Strong communication skills in English and French, both spoken and written. Demonstrated professionalism, integrity, and commitment to delivering a high-quality customer experience.
