Registered Veterinary Technologist, RVT Department: Emergency, ER Job Type: Casual or Part-time Position Location: Calgary, AB Calgary Animal Referral and Emergency (C.A.R.E.) Centre is currently welcoming an ER RVT (Casual or Part-time) to join our team. This is an exceptional opportunity for motivated technicians to expand their knowledge and practice very high-quality emergency medicine with a board-certified emergency and critical care specialist. Our ER RVT's have extensive exposure and involvement in patient care for specialty patients, providing a rich variety of cases. The philosophy of the C.A.R.E. Centre is to provide exceptional patient care in a progressive and cooperative teaching environment The successful candidate will have a positive attitude, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and a strong desire to provide exceptional client experience. The schedule can be worked around any existing job or school requirements. With a 24-hour facility, there are shifts available on weekdays, weekends, and overnights. Flexibility is an asset, but we work to promote great work/life balance. Applicants must be registered AHT and be eligible for registration with AAAHT/ABVMA in Alberta. ABVMA registration must be complete by the first day of employment. New graduates with temporary student ABVMA licensing are acceptable.
