Veterinary Receptionist, Client Care Location: Scarborough, ON Employment Type: Part-time Job Status: Existing Compensation: $17.85 to $25.00 per hour, depending on experience and skills At Toronto Veterinary Emergency Hospital, we welcome a Veterinary Receptionist, Client Care Coordinator to join our team part-time in Toronto, Ontario. In this vital role, you will be the heartbeat of our hospital, helping to make our clients feel deeply valued, comforted, and cared for from the moment they walk through our doors What You Will Do Creating a Warm Welcome: Greeting our patients and pet parents with empathy and care, ensuring they feel welcomed, supported, and appreciated from the moment they walk in. Managing Hospital Communication: Serving as our front-line voice by answering multi-line phones and managing client and referring veterinarian emails. Coordinating Appointments: Proactively booking visits, scheduling follow-ups, and making outbound calls to keep our patient care on track. Handling Financial Transactions: Guiding pet owners through the invoicing and billing process with clarity and compassion, confirming estimates, and processing payments. Maintaining a Comforting Space: Keeping our reception lobby and common areas clean, tidy, and welcoming for both pets and their families. Supporting Our Clinical Team: Assisting our veterinary staff with treatments and tasks while eagerly learning new medical office procedures and veterinary skills. Outstanding multi-tasking skills, a keen eye for detail, and a strong sense of reliability.
