Solution Architect - Teamcenter

Role: Solution Architect - Teamcenter Location: Canada, Remote Contract • Own end-to-end Teamcenter solution architecture for LAM programs covering engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain processes • Define and govern scalable Teamcenter architecture (4-tier, cloud/hybrid) aligned to LAM’s digital transformation roadmap • Lead PLM solution design integrating Teamcenter with CAD (NX), ERP (SAP), MES, and other enterprise systems • Drive standardization of engineering processes (BOM, BOP, change management, configuration control) within Teamcenter • Architect and review BMIDE data model extensions, classification, and schema design aligned to semiconductor domain needs • Guide development teams on ITK, SOA, Active Workspace, RAC customizations and enforce coding best practices • Define and oversee integration strategies (T4S/T4EA/custom APIs) ensuring secure and high-performance data exchange • Establish data governance, migration, and harmonization strategies for legacy-to-Teamcenter transitions • Lead solution design workshops with LAM business stakeholders, SMEs, and cross-functional teams • Act as technical authority for all design decisions, ensuring alignment with LAM engineering and compliance standards • Drive performance tuning, scalability planning, and system optimization for large BOMs and high transaction volumes • Define deployment, upgrade, and patch strategies, including rollback and contingency planning (aligned with LAM release governance) • Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and environment stability across DEV/TEST/PROD landscapes • Support Agile delivery model by guiding sprint teams, backlog refinement, and technical estimations • Conduct architecture reviews, code reviews, and design validations across vendors • Mentor and provide direction to L2/L3 support teams for critical issue resolution and root cause analysis • Collaborate with program leadership to ensure delivery alignment, timelines, and quality outcomes • Support pre-sales, solution proposals, and estimations for LAM PLM expansion initiatives • Establish monitoring, logging, and system health frameworks for proactive issue management • Ensure compliance with security policies, data protection, and semiconductor industry standards

The Solution Architect will own the end-to-end Teamcenter solution architecture for LAM programs, leading the design and integration of PLM solutions with various enterprise systems. They will also drive standardization of engineering processes and ensure compliance with engineering and industry standards.

Candidates should have extensive experience in solution architecture, particularly with Teamcenter, and a strong understanding of engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain processes. Knowledge of integration with CAD, ERP, and MES systems is essential, along with experience in data governance and Agile methodologies.
