Technology Infrastructure Engineer (onsite Cambridge, ON)

Infrastructure Engineer We're looking for a well-rounded infrastructure engineer to join a team operating across a broad, integrated technology stack. This isn't a single-technology type of role — you'll own work across virtualization, storage, OS, networking, and collaboration platforms, balancing day-to-day operations with project delivery. What You'll Do Administer and troubleshoot VMware vSphere environments (including SimpliVity) Manage Windows Server infrastructure — patching, performance tuning, and issue resolution Support SAN/storage environments (HPE Fibre Channel, storage provisioning) Maintain telephony systems (Cisco & Avaya, VoIP and analog) Support Microsoft Teams Rooms and Crestron AV hardware Drive automation and scripting to reduce manual effort (PowerShell, Ansible) Manage incidents, problems, and project deliverables concurrently across priorities Leverage AI tools (Copilot, GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT) to improve efficiency, scripting, and documentation Must Haves VMware vSphere administration Windows Server administration and troubleshooting HPE SAN / Fibre Channel storage Microsoft Teams Rooms / AV systems support Cisco & Avaya telephony Nice to Haves Nutanix (Prism Central, cluster operations) Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy Red Hat Linux / Satellite management Cohesity backup & recovery (SAP, Oracle, PostgreSQL) NetApp file share administration Kubernetes (NKP or equivalent) PowerShell and/or Ansible scripting Microsoft 365 / Exchange Online administration Who You Are You're comfortable context-switching across infrastructure domains, can ramp up quickly on unfamiliar technology, and don't wait to be told what needs doing. You identify gaps, drive solutions forward, and bring others along with you.

The Technology Infrastructure Engineer will administer and troubleshoot various infrastructure components, including VMware vSphere environments and Windows Server infrastructure. They will also manage incidents and project deliverables while leveraging automation tools to improve efficiency.

Candidates must have experience with VMware vSphere and Windows Server administration, along with knowledge of SAN/storage environments and telephony systems. Familiarity with automation tools and AI tools is also essential.
