Databricks Administrator

Job Title: Databricks Administrator Location: Toronto, ON – Remote Duration: 6 Months Contract to Hire Strong hands-on experience with Databricks administration, platform setup, configuration, and optimization. Solid experience in Data Engineering using AWS services (S3, IAM, Glue, Lambda, CloudWatch, etc.). Experience designing and maintaining scalable data pipelines and modern data platforms. Strong knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases, including PostgreSQL and MongoDB. Experience with Snowflake is preferred but not mandatory. Proficiency in Python, SQL, and/or Scala for data engineering and automation. Good understanding of cloud security, governance, monitoring, and performance optimization. Strong troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills, with the ability to collaborate across engineering teams

The Databricks Administrator will be responsible for the administration, setup, configuration, and optimization of the Databricks platform. They will also design and maintain scalable data pipelines and modern data platforms.

Candidates should have strong hands-on experience with Databricks and AWS services, along with proficiency in Python, SQL, and/or Scala. A solid understanding of cloud security and experience with relational and NoSQL databases is also required.
