The Senior Quality Specialist, ASME SME is accountable for executing, and sustaining the company’s quality strategy in the nuclear market, ensuring that all manufactured products consistently meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and regulatory compliance. This leadership role is pivotal in supporting audits, product certifications, contract reviews, manufacturing activities, and cultivating a strong quality culture across the organization, with a particular emphasis on the rigorous demands of the nuclear industries. Key Responsibilities * Contribute to the definition and implementation of the corporate quality strategy in alignment with business objectives. * Support the continual evolution and implementation of the ASME quality management system to ensure it remains robust and supports the company’s long-term vision and operational priorities. * Lead the North American contract review function, to ensure compliance with applicable standards and regulations, including ASME Section III and NQA-1, 10 CFR 50 Appendix B, ISO 9001:2015, CSA N299 and others as required. * Collaborate closely with quality control, engineering, production, and program management teams to resolve quality-related issues effectively. * Support supplier qualification and performance evaluation, ensuring consistency of purchased components through vendor certification, clear acceptance criteria, and ongoing product monitoring. Education University degree in Mechanical Engineering Skills and Competencies * Proven experience in the nuclear sector or other highly regulated industries, with a deep understanding of compliance, safety, and certification requirements. * ASME Sections III, V, VIII and IX. * ASME B16.34, B31.1 and B31.3. * Proven experience in the nuclear sector or other highly regulated industries, with a deep understanding of compliance, safety, and certification requirements. * Excellent communication skills across all levels of the organization and with external stakeholders, fostering transparency and trust. * Bilingual (French/English), enabling effective communication in diverse environments and across international teams.

Exigences

Requires a university degree in Mechanical Engineering and proven experience in the nuclear sector or highly regulated industries. Must possess deep knowledge of ASME standards and be bilingual in French and English.
