What We Offer Competitive hourly compensation Industry-leading production bonus program RRSP matching program Employer-paid extended health, dental, and vision benefits Life and disability insurance coverage Employee wellness programs Ongoing training and professional development Career advancement opportunities across our Canadian and North American operations A safety-focused and collaborative work environment Key Responsibilities Perform diagnostics, inspections, and repairs on heavy-duty trucks, trailers, and transportation equipment Complete preventative maintenance and scheduled service work Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, brake, suspension, and drivetrain systems Utilize diagnostic software and specialized tools to identify and resolve technical issues Ensure repairs are completed in accordance with manufacturer specifications and safety standards Conduct quality inspections and functional testing following repairs Maintain accurate service and maintenance records Support inventory and parts management activities as required Contribute to a safe, organized, and efficient shop environment Qualifications Required Red Seal Heavy Duty Equipment Technician, Truck & Transport Technician certification, or equivalent qualification Experience repairing and maintaining heavy-duty trucks and trailers Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills Proficiency with electronic diagnostic equipment and repair tools Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Excellent organizational and time-management skills Commitment to workplace health and safety practices Preferred Class 1 or Class 3 Driver’s Licence Commercial Vehicle Inspection (CVI) Licence Previous dealership or fleet maintenance experience Inclusive Hiring Commitment Velocity Truck Centres Canada is committed to fostering an inclusive, respectful, and accessible workplace.
