Mobile Service Technician - Heavy Duty Mechanic

Conduct repairs and preventative maintenance on engines, brakes, electrical systems, and other mechanical components. Ensure all work is completed according to manufacturer specifications and safety standards. Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used. Test drive vehicles to verify repair effectiveness. Collaborate with team members to solve complex mechanical issues. Stay current with industry best practices and emerging technologies. Assist with parts ordering and inventory management as needed. Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies. What You Bring: Red Seal certification or equivalent in Heavy Duty Mechanic/Truck & Transport Technician Proven experience working with heavy-duty trucks and trailers Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills for mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and repair equipment Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Excellent time management and organizational skills Knowledge of safety procedures and adherence to safety standards Preferred: Class 1 or 3 driver's license CVI (Commercial Vehicle Inspection) license Previous experience in a dealership shop environment #HP01 Who We Are: Velocity Truck Centres Canada provides full-service support, including sales, maintenance, parts, collision repair, and financing.
