Access / Automatic Door Technician

We are currently looking for a skilled Automatic & Access Control Door Technician to join our growing Service Team based out of Waterloo. This is a field-based role where you’ll work on automatic doors, access control systems, and automated gates, delivering quality installations and expert repairs for clients across the London region. WHAT YOU WILL DO Installation and service repair work on automated gates and access control systems Installation and service repair work on automatic door systems Foster and maintain positive working relationships with our valued customers Read manuals and use correct resources to perform repairs for various brands of doors and gates serviced Maintain inventory on company service vehicle to effectively perform service calls Monitor vehicle for potential service issues and promptly report any concerns to management Work efficiently in small teams to complete daily tasks and assignments Rotate the afterhours phone between other employees and respond to emergency calls Remain in contact with the Service Administrator throughout the day Assist Project Manager with other duties and responsibilities as assigned Employment Type: Full Time, Permanent Schedule: Monday to Friday, rotating on-call WHAT YOU WILL NEED 2+ years’ experience installing or servicing automatic entry doors or related systems Valid G class drivers license Strong communication, troubleshooting, and teamwork skills Able to work independently and in small teams Comfortable with occasional on-call shifts (shared rotation) WHAT WE OFFER Competitive Wages Comprehensive Benefits Package RRSP Program Profit Sharing Program Dialogue: Health & Wellness Platform Employee Referral Program Corporate Discount Program Years of Service Rewards Educational Reimbursement Company Events and Celebrations Fundraising Initiatives for Local Charity Partners Family, Friendly Environment Ventri Door Technologies provides accommodations to job applicants with disabilities throughout the hiring process. Perform installation and service repair work on automatic doors, access control systems, and automated gates. Maintain positive customer relationships and manage vehicle inventory while responding to emergency on-call requests.

Requires at least 2 years of experience in installing or servicing automatic entry doors or related systems. A valid G class driver's license and the ability to work independently or in small teams are essential.
