This role also involves <strong>recommending and approving changes</strong> to ensure regulatory and program compliance.</p> <div>Position Responsibilities <em>(not limited to)</em></div><ul> <li>Know, comply with, and actively promote <strong>occupational health and safety rules</strong>; intervene respectfully with colleagues, supervisors, visitors, or any other individual in the event of non-compliance;</li> <li>Maintain <strong>excellent working relationships</strong> with all employees, contractors, visitors, stakeholders, and clients of <strong>Vergers Leahy Inc.</strong>;</li> <li>Plan, execute, and follow up on <strong>internal, external, and certification audits</strong>;</li> <li>Document, review, and continuously improve <strong>quality and food safety programs and plans</strong>, and ensure their effectiveness;</li> <li>Reassess, validate, verify, and keep up to date <strong>quality documentation</strong>, including <strong>HACCP, SQF</strong>, and other certifications (including <strong>organic, kosher, and natural health products</strong>);</li> <li>Prepare and lead <strong>internal and external audits</strong>, including follow-ups (Corrective Action Requests or related non-conformities);</li> <li>Monitor and follow up on <strong>internal and external corrective action requests and non-conformities</strong> within prescribed timelines, and issue action plans to prevent recurrence;</li> <li>Supervise <strong>pest control management activities</strong> and ensure proper follow-up;</li> <li>Carry out sampling as outlined in the <strong>environmental monitoring program</strong> (finished products, raw materials, water, surfaces, etc.), coordinate sample shipments, and analyze results to verify compliance;</li> <li>In cases of <strong>non-conformity or unsatisfactory situations</strong>, conduct <strong>risk analyses</strong> (food safety and quality), implement corrective actions, and document according to required standards;</li> <li>Ensure ongoing compliance with <strong>short- and long-term regulatory requirements</strong>.</li></ul><p><br>The masculine gender is used in this job posting solely to lighten the text.
