This is a full-time, in-office role based in Saskatoon, SK. There are 2 vacancies. As a Software Developer II, you will play a key role in designing, building, and maintaining applications that support the Bank’s strategic and operational objectives. This role directly contributes to the full development lifecycle – from analysis and design to coding, testing, and documentation – while ensuring solutions are secure, efficient, and aligned with organizational standards. Primary Responsibilities include: Analyze and evaluate new applications and modifications to existing systems. Develop secure, clean, and efficient code based on specifications and established standards. Document code, system components, and technical processes in accordance with the Bank’s guidelines. Create unit tests and test plans, execute testing, and review results for quality assurance. Prepare technical designs that account for performance, scalability, security, control, backup, recovery, and audit requirements. Provide operational support on an as-needed basis, including troubleshooting and resolving application issues in a timely manner. Collaborate with business analysts, external support teams, end users and internal team members to ensure solutions meet business needs. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in computer science, or related field. 3+ years of experience in full cycle software development. Proficient in C# or similar object-oriented programming languages and .NET. Experience with Angular (or a similar modern JavaScript/TypeScript framework) Demonstrated understanding of database architectures and proficiency in SQL. Working knowledge of Git for source control; experience with Azure DevOps or similar CI/CD tooling is an asset. Familiarity with Docker/containerized development environments is an asset. Demonstrated understanding of web application development. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong understanding of networking principles and foundational cyber security concepts. Knowledge of common cyber security risks and practical techniques for risk mitigation. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to clearly presents findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences. Self-starter who is highly organized and able to prioritize effectively. Experience with Django is preferred. What we offer: A collaborative and team-focused work environment.
