Position Title: Class 1 Fluids Operator Position location: Dawson Creek, BC VERTEX OFFERS Commission or hourly rate pay structure Extended Health Benefits Dental Coverage Vision Care and Glasses Coverage Disability Insurance Life Insurance A safe working environment Stable Employment Compensation is commensurate with education and experience Versatile company culture that is ever expanding and growing CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS Valid Class 1 driver’s license with a clean driver abstract 2 years’ experience driving tank trucks (fluid hauling) desired Capable to operate Tri - Axle units and Super B trucks JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Drive and operate equipment in a safe and professional manner Participate in safety program by ensuring all company and customer policies & procedures are adhered to Attendance and participation in toolbox talks and safety meetings, FLRA’s, hazard assessment development, pre-trips/post-trips Willing to work as a team player with coworkers, contractors, and customers Follow all local, provincial and federal compliance regulations and rules Ensure all safety certificate training are up to date Perform maintenance on units to ensure cleanliness and efficient operation Complete and maintain all required paperwork and documentation properly within set timelines; this includes daily logs, waste manifests etc. Workload and schedules may vary depending on emergency situations and routine work that can be punctuated by very busy periods Travel is required and driving will occur in all weather conditions to various customer and/or Vertex worksites Ability to lift heavy tools and parts APPLY NOW With a track record of success, Vertex provides a fast-paced environment where people thrive. The operator is responsible for driving and operating tank trucks in a safe and professional manner while adhering to all safety and compliance regulations. They must also perform routine maintenance on units and maintain accurate documentation such as daily logs and waste manifests.

Candidates must possess a valid Class 1 driver's license with a clean abstract and have at least 2 years of experience in fluid hauling. Proficiency in operating Tri-Axle and Super B trucks is required, along with the ability to work in various weather conditions.
