Vertex is growing, and we're looking for Class 1 Operators with experience operating Semi-Vac, Super B's, Combo Vac's, Straight Vac's and Pressure Trucks to join our Bonnyville, Alberta team. We're seeking local candidates from the Bonnyville area. Job Description We are currently looking for Full Time Class 1 Operators with Semi-Vac, Super B, Combo-Vac, Straight-Vac and Pressure Truck experience to join our team! Competitive Compensation Benefits Packages including Health, Dental & Vision Employment close to home A Safe Working Environment Stable Employment Provided PPE Duties and Responsibilities Ensure customer and client satisfaction by providing excellent customer service at all times Comply with Company policies and procedures, health and safety procedures, Department of Transportation and hazardous materials/waste requirements and regulations Perform maintenance on units to ensure cleanliness and efficient operation Complete and maintain all required paperwork and documentation properly within set timelines; this includes daily logs, dispatch and trip reports and time sheets Follow all local, provincial and federal compliance regulations and rules Perform pre and post trip inspections, follow company policies and procedures for routine maintenance, perform general housekeeping to ensure units are operating properly and report any inefficiency to Supervisor Safely observe all company operating guidelines and procedures Observe all company environmental health and safety operating guidelines Candidate Qualifications Drug & Alcohol Testing (Provided by Vertex) Valid Class 1 drivers license with a clean commercial drivers abstract 3-5 years of experience with Semi Vac, Super B, Combo Vac, Straight Vac and Pressure Trucks ELD logbook experience Possess H2S Alive, First Aid and CSO safety tickets Demonstrate a commitment to environmental compliance and safe work practices Ability to work independently while managing time and productivity Must be in good health and physical condition to perform duties assigned Integrity and reliability, willing to accept out of town work when applicable/necessary Assets to Have Possess CSTS 2020, Fall Protection and Confined Space Entry & Monitor safety tickets Company Description Vertex is a leading provider of environmental solutions, a unique combination of environmental consulting and environmental field services and equipment. Requires a valid Class 1 driver's license with a clean abstract and 3-5 years of experience operating specialized vacuum and pressure trucks. Must possess H2S Alive, First Aid, and CSO safety tickets and be capable of passing drug and alcohol testing.
