The role focuses on preparing and monitoring patients during surgical and anesthetic procedures, including medication calculation and equipment maintenance. Additionally, the technician performs technical appointments such as blood draws, bandage changes, and dental cleanings.

Candidates must hold a current Registered Veterinary Technician certification in Ontario and have hands-on experience in veterinary nursing. Proficiency in anesthesia, surgical monitoring, and dentistry is required.
