Our hospital provides care for small animals, pocket pets, and occasionally urgent care cases, giving our technicians the opportunity to work with a wide variety of interesting medical and surgical cases every day. What You’ll Do As an RVT at Nepean Animal Hospital, you will: Assist veterinarians with examinations, diagnostics, and treatments Monitor anesthesia and support surgical procedures Perform laboratory testing and diagnostic imaging Administer medications and vaccinations Provide exceptional nursing care to hospitalized patients Educate clients on preventative care, nutrition, and treatment plans Maintain accurate medical records Help create a clean, organized, and efficient hospital environment Work closely with a supportive team that genuinely enjoys working together What We’re Looking For Our ideal candidate is: A Registered Veterinary Technician (or eligible to become registered) In good standing with the provincial regulatory association Enthusiastic, compassionate, and team-oriented Comfortable in a fast-paced environment Adaptable and eager to learn new skills Passionate about delivering excellent patient and client care Motivated to continue growing professionally New graduates are absolutely welcome to apply.
