Central Supply & Facilities lead Key Responsibilities Inventory Management (Supplies Only) Oversee ordering, receiving, and distribution of all non-drug hospital supplies. Monitor stock levels and implement systems to prevent shortages or excess. Build and maintain positive relationships with suppliers, shipping vendors, and service representatives. Track backorders, shipping delays, and substitutions, communicating updates to staff as needed. Maintain accurate records of supply usage and expenses for budgeting and forecasting. IT Support Coordination Serve as the primary liaison between hospital staff and the IT support team. Collect, prioritize, and submit IT support requests through the hospital ticketing system. Track ticket progress and communicate updates or resolutions back to staff. Partner with leadership to identify recurring issues and recommend process or equipment improvements. Facilities & Environmental Operations Manage service requests through the hospital’s facilities ticketing system (Service Channel). Coordinate with facilities teams and third-party vendors for on-site repairs, replacements, and upgrades. Conduct regular facility and equipment checks, escalating concerns as needed. Supervise janitorial staff, fostering collaboration to ensure the hospital environment is clean, safe, and operational at all times. Liaise with the Joint Health and Safety Committee to ensure flagged actions are appropriately addressed in a timely manner. Qualifications Previous experience in veterinary, medical, or healthcare settings preferred. Supervisory or team-lead experience an asset. Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to balance multiple priorities. Professional communication skills for coordinating with staff, committees, and external vendors. Familiarity with inventory systems, IT ticketing platforms, and/or facilities management systems (training provided). Proactive problem-solving mindset with attention to detail. Reporting & Collaboration Reports directly to the Practice Manager and/or Hospital Director. Collaborates closely with hospital leadership, medical and technical staff, janitorial team, external vendors, and the Joint Health and Safety Committee. Why Join Us?
