Coastal Ford Burnaby is seeking a motivated and skilled Flat Rate Automotive Technician to join our high-volume automotive repair shop in Burnaby BC. This is an incredibly busy shop with earning potential upwards of $150,000 annually. As a Flat Rate Technician, you will be responsible for performing diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on various vehicle makes and models, ensuring quality and efficiency at every step. Our team is dedicated to providing top-notch automotive repairs while maintaining a productive work environment. Key Responsibilities: • Diagnose and repair a wide range of mechanical and electrical vehicle issues. • Perform routine maintenance (oil changes, brake services, tire rotations, etc.). • Maintain an organized and clean work area. • Follow manufacturer guidelines and repair procedures to ensure accurate repairs. • Complete job tasks in a timely manner while adhering to shop standards. • Communicate effectively with Service Advisors and customers when necessary. • Stay up to date with automotive technology, tools, and repair techniques. • Ensure all repairs are completed with high attention to detail and safety standards. Requirements: • Proven experience as an Automotive Technician (minimum 2-3 years preferred). • Red Seal certification • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills. • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. • Ability to work independently or as part of a team. • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record. • Strong communication skills and customer service focus.
