Détails du poste
REGISTERED MASSAGE THERAPIST Vital Performance Care Full-Time/Part-Time On-Site Calgary, AB At Vital Performance Care, we recognize that massage therapy is more than relaxation — although that can be important too. It is an integral part of recovery, injury management, movement, and performance. Our approach is built on the philosophy that performance and health are on the same spectrum. We provide comprehensive, collaborative care that meets individuals where they are and helps them move toward their goals. We are looking for a skilled and motivated Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) to join our team. This role is ideal for a practitioner who thrives in a collaborative, performance-driven environment and enjoys working with a diverse client population. At Vital, our RMTs work with clients ranging from high-performance athletes to active individuals managing acute injuries, training demands, chronic pain, mobility concerns, or simply looking to feel and move better in everyday activities. You’ll work alongside physiotherapists, chiropractors, osteopathic manual practitioners, acupuncturists, strength and conditioning coaches, and other performance professionals, creating opportunities for truly integrated care. We offer very competitive splits within a contractor-style agreement, along with the opportunity to build and grow your own practice within an established multidisciplinary team and performance facility. Location: Eau Claire Athletic Club, Calgary, AB Availability: Flexible — days, evenings and weekends (Full-Time or Part-Time) Your Roles and Responsibilities Provide individualized, goal-oriented massage therapy based on each client’s presentation, needs, and goals. Deliver skilled hands-on treatment to support recovery, mobility, pain management, injury rehabilitation, performance, and overall well-being. Develop and oversee appropriate treatment plans while recognizing when collaboration or referral to another practitioner may benefit the client. Collaborate with Vital’s multidisciplinary clinical and performance team to provide seamless, coordinated care. Manage client files, bookings, referrals, follow-ups, and communication to support continuity of care. Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation using Jane App. Educate clients on recovery strategies, movement, self-management, and other relevant recommendations within your scope of practice. Maintain clear communication with clients, associates, and leadership regarding client care when appropriate. Stay actively engaged in continuing education and professional development. Contribute to the Vital community through collaboration, internal referrals, team initiatives, events, and practice development. We Are Looking for the Following Practitioner Registered Massage Therapist in good standing with a recognized professional association in Alberta. Completion of a recognized massage therapy program, with the education and credentials required for clients to access extended health insurance coverage. Current professional liability/malpractice insurance. Strong therapeutic and hands-on treatment skills. Experience working in a multidisciplinary, rehabilitation, sports, or performance-focused clinical environment is an asset. Additional education or certifications in areas such as sports massage, myofascial techniques, cupping, lymphatic drainage, TMJ treatment, prenatal/postnatal massage, or other relevant modalities are considered assets. Experience using Electronic Medical Records (EMRs), particularly Jane App, is an asset. Strong communication, organization, and client-management skills. Interest in community outreach, education, sporting environments, or collaborative practice development is an asset. An established or growing client base is considered an asset, but is not required. What We Value During the interview process, we will be looking for examples and behaviours that reflect the following: Innovation & Problem-Solving — How do you adapt your approach based on the individual in front of you rather than relying on a one-size-fits-all treatment? Brand Value Alignment — Community, Integrity, Growth & Communication. Empathetic & Clear Communication — How do you build trust with clients and communicate effectively with other members of their care team? Collaboration — How do you recognize when a client may benefit from another perspective and work alongside other practitioners to improve their care? Strong Hands-On Skills — How do you combine technical skill, clinical reasoning, and client feedback to provide effective treatment? Ownership & Organization — How do you manage your schedule, client communication, documentation, follow-up, and ongoing care plans? Curiosity & Growth — What drives you to continue learning, refine your skills, and become a better practitioner? Vital Performance Care Perks Work within the Eau Claire Athletic Club, with access to an established health, fitness, and performance community. Collaborate with professionals across physiotherapy, chiropractic, massage therapy, osteopathy, acupuncture, strength and conditioning, exercise physiology, and performance training. Build your practice within an established multidisciplinary clinic with opportunities for internal referrals and collaborative client care. Monthly professional development opportunities, including team learning sessions and case discussions. Leadership feedback and practice-development support to help you grow your caseload and professional goals.
