Your role with us: Reporting to the Manufacturing Operations Manager, the Manufacturing Process Manager leads the design, development, and optimization of manufacturing processes for machined parts and assemblies, including CNC programming, router set-up and maintenance, software, and oversight of metrology solutions. The Manufacturing Process Manager works cross-functionally to drive continuous improvement and implement advanced manufacturing methodologies that align with business objectives, ensuring that processes are scalable, cost-effective, and of the highest quality, supporting new product development and ongoing production. You will bring to the role: Minimum 10 years of experience working in a CNC manufacturing environment. Minimum 5 years of experience leading and developing a team. Post secondary education in a related field. Strong understanding of machining principles, engineering design, and product development lifecycle processes, with the ability to integrate manufacturability into design and development phases. Extensive experience developing, optimizing, and scaling manufacturing processes for complex precision-machined and assembled components, with a demonstrated ability to improve quality, efficiency, and production throughput in a high-specification manufacturing environment. Advanced proficiency in CNC machining operations, including lathes, mills, and multi-axis equipment, with hands-on experience in machine set-up, programming, troubleshooting, and process optimization using industry-standard software such as Mazatrol, EIA, Vericut, CIMCO, Mastercam, and SolidWorks. Including experience in the following: Tooling selections and optimization. Surfacing and profiling. Macro and parametric programming. Strong working knowledge of CMM inspection, including programming, measurement analysis, and interpretation of dimensional inspection reports, is considered a strong asset. Strong understanding of ERP manufacturing data, costing, routings, scheduling, and make-versus-buy analysis. Excellent problem-solving skills, including experience with root cause analysis, process troubleshooting, and lean manufacturing.
