À PROPOS DE VOLATUS AÉROSPACE Volatus Aérospace développe la première capacité souveraine canadienne de RPAS. Dans le cadre de cette initiative, nous mettons en place à Mirabel un centre d’innovation et de fabrication de classe mondiale dédié aux RPAS, réunissant l’ingénierie, les opérations de vol, les systèmes autonomes et la fabrication. APERCU DU POSTE Relevant du Vice-Président Exécutif, l'Ingénieur(e) de fabrication agira comme principal lien entre les équipes d'ingénierie, de production et la firme de consultants spécialisée en automatisation mandatée pour concevoir et implanter la nouvelle ligne de fabrication robotisée. Cette personne participera activement à la conception, à l'implantation, à la validation et à l'optimisation des procédés manufacturiers afin d'assurer un démarrage efficace et performant de la production à grande échelle. RESPONSIBILITIÉES PRINCIPALES Agir comme point de contact principal entre l'ingénierie, la production et les consultants responsables de l'automatisation. Participer à la conception, à l'implantation et à la mise en service d'une ligne de production automatisée à haut volume. Collaborer à l'élaboration des flux de production, des postes de travail et des méthodes d'assemblage. Assurer la transition des produits de l'ingénierie vers la production manufacturière. Évaluer et optimiser les procédés afin d'améliorer la sécurité, la qualité, la capacité et la productivité. Participer à la validation des équipements automatisés, robotisés et des outils de production. Développer et maintenir la documentation manufacturière incluant instructions de travail, procédures et standards de production. Supporter les équipes de production lors du démarrage des nouvelles lignes et lors de la résolution de problèmes techniques. Participer aux analyses de capacité, à la planification des opérations et aux initiatives d'amélioration continue. Assurer le respect des normes de qualité, de santé et sécurité ainsi que des exigences réglementaires applicables au secteur aérospatial. Effectuer toute autre tâche ou responsabilité connexe pouvant lui être assignée raisonnablement par l’Entreprise au besoin. QUALIFICATIONS Formations & Expérience Baccalauréat en génie manufacturier, génie mécanique, génie industriel ou domaine connexe. Membre de l'Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ) ou admissible. Minimum de 5 années d'expérience en environnement manufacturier. Expérience démontrée dans l'implantation ou l'optimisation de lignes de production automatisées. Connaissance des procédés d'assemblage et des principes de conception manufacturière. Expérience de travail avec des systèmes robotisés, automatisés ou des équipements de production à haut volume. Connaissance des pratiques Lean Manufacturing et d'amélioration continue. Expérience dans le secteur aérospatial, manufacturier de haute technologie ou réglementé constitue un atout. Compétences et aptitudes Capacité à travailler efficacement entre des équipes multidisciplinaires. Excellentes aptitudes en résolution de problèmes et en gestion de projets techniques. COMPANY OVERVIEW Volatus Aerospace is building Canada’s first sovereign RPAS capability. As part of this initiative, we are developing a world-class RPAS Innovation and Manufacturing Hub in Mirabel that brings together engineering, flight operations, autonomy, and manufacturing. JOB OVERVIEW Reporting to the Executive Vice President, the Manufacturing Engineer will serve as the primary liaison between the Engineering and Production teams and the automation consulting firm engaged to design and implement a new robotic manufacturing line. The successful candidate will play a key role in the design, implementation, validation, and optimization of manufacturing processes to ensure the successful launch and efficient operation of high-volume production. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Serve as the primary point of contact between Engineering, Production, and the consultants responsible for automation. Participate in the design, implementation, and commissioning of a high-volume automated production line. Collaborate in the development of production workflows, workstations, and assembly methods. Support the transition of products from Engineering into Manufacturing. Evaluate and optimize processes to improve safety, quality, capacity, and productivity. Participate in the validation of automated and robotic equipment, as well as production tooling. Develop and maintain manufacturing documentation, including work instructions, procedures, and production standards. Support Production teams during the launch of new production lines and in the resolution of technical issues. Participate in capacity analysis, operations planning, and continuous improvement initiatives. Ensure compliance with quality, health and safety standards, and applicable aerospace regulatory requirements. Perform any other related duties and responsibilities that may reasonably be assigned by the Company as required. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline. Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ) or eligible for membership. Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a manufacturing environment. Demonstrated experience implementing or optimizing automated production lines. Knowledge of assembly processes and manufacturing design principles. Experience working with robotic, automated, or high-volume production systems. Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies. Experience in aerospace, high-technology manufacturing, or other regulated industries is considered an asset. Skills & Competencies Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams. The Manufacturing Engineer will act as the primary liaison between engineering, production, and automation consultants to design and implement a high-volume robotic production line. They are responsible for process optimization, equipment validation, and ensuring the successful transition of products from engineering to full-scale manufacturing.

Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree in manufacturing, mechanical, or industrial engineering and possess at least five years of experience in a manufacturing environment. Membership or eligibility for the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ) is required, along with demonstrated expertise in automated production systems.
