Reporting to the Foreman, a Concrete Labourer supports concrete crews by assisting with site preparation, concrete placement, and general labour activities. This role involves working closely with finishers and equipment operators to ensure safe, efficient operations while maintaining quality standards on heavy civil construction projects. How You’ll Add Value * Actively contribute to the safety culture, promoting a safe and productive work environment * Assist with site preparation including grading, shoveling, and preparing granular base materials * Support concrete placement by raking, spreading, and moving concrete during pours * Assist Concrete Finishers with hand tools, forms, and general finishing support * Clean, strip, and move concrete forms, stakes, and other materials as directed * Load, unload, and move construction materials and equipment around the worksite * Perform general labour duties such as shoveling, sweeping, and site clean-up * Signal equipment operators and assist with traffic control plans to maintain safe site operations * Work in various outdoor conditions including inclement weather, heat, humidity, and exposure to dust and asphalt What You Bring * 1+ years of labour experience, preferably in heavy civil construction * Physically able to safely lift and carry 50 lbs regularly * Valid Class 5 Driver’s License with a Driver’s Abstract showing no more than 6 demerits and no major infractions * Willing to travel and work out of town for short, fixed-term periods, as needed Note: Pre-employment Drug and Alcohol Testing and Fit for Work Testing will be required. Exigences

Candidates must have at least one year of labour experience, preferably in heavy civil construction, and be physically capable of lifting 50 lbs. A valid Class 5 Driver’s License with a clean abstract is required, along with the willingness to travel for work.
