Volker Stevin’s Landscape Operators support a wide range of landscape construction and site development work, including grading, topsoil placement, final trimming, irrigation preparation, seeding, and general site finishing. Based on experience and qualifications, candidates should be comfortable operating one or more of the following equipment types: Based on experience and qualifications, candidates may be considered for one or more of the following roles: * Skidsteer Operator * Mini Excavator Operator * Water Truck Operator - Single Axle * Large Tractor Operator - 40-100HP Operators are responsible for the safe, efficient, and productive operation of assigned equipment while maintaining grade, finish quality and quality standards in support of project requirements. How You’ll Add Value * Actively contribute to the safety culture, promoting a safe and productive work environment * Safely operate landscaping and earthmoving equipment in accordance with company policies, manufacturer guidelines, and OH&S regulations * Perform fine grading, topsoil spreading, site prep, and final landscape finishing * Operate water trucks for dust control and soil conditioning * Use tractor attachments (harrows, seeders, etc.) to support landscape installation and restoration work * Read and interpret grade stakes and site plans to complete work accurately * Perform daily equipment inspections and basic preventative maintenance * Work closely with supervisors and ground crews to ensure quality and productivity * Operate equipment in residential, commercial, or tight urban environments while maintaining situational awareness * Identify and report mechanical issues, hazards, or unsafe conditions * Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas What You Bring * 5+ years experience operating one or more of the listed equipment types safely and efficiently * Strong understanding of safe work practices around heavy equipment and ground crews * Valid Class 5 with a Driver's Abstract showing no more than 6 demerits Note: Pre-employment Drug and Alcohol Testing will be required. Exigences

Candidates must have at least 5 years of experience operating relevant landscaping and earthmoving equipment. A valid Class 5 driver's license with a clean abstract is required, along with the ability to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol testing.
