Summary The Winnipeg Ovarian Cancer Walk of Hope needs volunteers for the annual fundraising walk being held Sunday, September 27, 2026 Location Address Kildonan Park, 2015 Main Street Winnipeg, Manitoba R2J 3S2 When Opportunity Type Event - Specific Date Starts Monday, September 7, 2026 Ends Monday, September 28, 2026 About This Opportunity The Winnipeg Ovarian Cancer Walk of Hope needs volunteers for the annual fundraising walk being held Sunday morning, September 27, 2026. The walk will be held at the North Shelter of Kildonan Park located at 2015 Main Street. There are a variety of volunteer roles available including assisting with registration, marshelling/cheerleading, food and beverage, decorating and take-down duties. No experience necessary. All volunteers will be instructed on duties and responsibilities with plenty of assistance. This is a chance to help find a cure for Ovarian Cancer! All volunteers will be given a letter to be used for educational and professional experience. Please contact the volunteer coordinator at wpg.walkofhopevolunteers@yahoo.ca to sign up.
