We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to support a material localization project in India from a logistics project management perspective. The Logistics Project Manager will play a key role in this X-functional project by capturing logistics requirements from the plants and translating them into clear inputs for the RFQ process, and then implementing the material flows for our Indian plants, Australian plant, and KD plants supplied through the Indian plant. This is a hands-on, cross-functional assignment requiring strong coordination, stakeholder management, and practical logistics execution. The role is aligned to a strategic project and will be engaged for a fixed term of one year. What You Will Do The Project Manager will be expected to: Capturing logistics requirements from plants in the early phase to support RFQ preparation Translating plant needs into clear logistics inputs for Purchasing and sourcing teams Supporting supplier validation and PPAP-related logistics activities Coordinating the logistics aspects of material flow implementation after supplier selection Defining and securing material flows for the different receivers Working closely with Purchasing, RnD, Transport Operations, Plant Logistics, Packaging development and material control teams Managing project plans, dependencies, risks, and follow-up actions Supporting readiness for implementation, including packaging, transport, lead times, and flow design Ensuring smooth transition from project phase to operational execution Develop the communication and KPI Required Qualifications And Experience Strong experience in logistics project management or supply chain project support Experience in industrial or manufacturing environments, preferably automotive Good understanding of end-to-end logistics and material flow design Experience working cross-functionally with Purchasing, Plants, and Suppliers Knowledge of PPAP and supplier readiness processes Strong skills in requirement gathering, coordination, planning, and follow-up Ability to work independently and drive actions forward Strong communication skills in English A structured, analytical, and pragmatic mindset Profile characteristics We Are Looking For a Project Manager Who Is Hands-on and collaborative Comfortable working in early project phases Strong at converting plant needs into clear actionable requirements Able to work across functions and countries Focused on delivery and practical implementation We value your data privacy and therefore do not accept applications via mail.
