310T/S Automotive Apprentice Mechanic - Brant, ON

Voyago is hiring 310T/S Automotive Apprentice Mechanic (2nd - 4th year) for our Brant Garage. Your Role Reporting directly to the Fleet Manager, You are responsible for evaluating and ensuring vehicle safety through preventative maintenance as required and all in compliance with all Ministry of Transportation (MTO) and Voyago's guidelines. You will utilize parts from inventory or order parts necessary through the Fleet Management software to make repairs. You will complete repairs in a timely manner. You will be servicing vehicles in accordance with corporate policies and procedures. You will keep work environment clean and tidy. You will complete required reports as directed (i.e. sign-off on driver-initiated repair logs and log books, and PM service logs by division). Scheduled Shift: Monday to Friday (6:00AM - 3:00PM) Hourly rate: $25.20/hr to $36.90/hr Your Profile You are registered with the STO as 310T/S Automotive Apprentice Mechanic - must be in 2nd, 3rd or 4th year. You have ODP certification with A/C experience. You have experience and working knowledge of light duty diesel repair, as well as gasoline. You have Superior written and verbal communication skills and sound organizational competencies. You demonstrated leadership, problem-solving, and team-building skills. You have excellent proven customer service experience. You have a valid G class driving license. The mechanic is responsible for evaluating and ensuring vehicle safety through preventative maintenance and timely repairs in compliance with MTO and company guidelines. They must also manage parts inventory, complete required repair logs, and maintain a clean work environment.

Candidates must be a registered 310T/S Automotive Apprentice (2nd-4th year) with ODP certification and A/C experience. A valid G class driving license and the ability to pass a criminal record search are also required.
