Transdev is hiring a Licenced 310TMechanic- Lead Hand for our Sudbury location! We are proactively seeking qualified 310T Truck and Coach Technician - Lead Hand to join our talent pool for future employment opportunities. Reporting directly to the Fleet & Assets Manager: You are responsible to perform lead work over fleet technicians engaged in the inspection, diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of a fleet vehicles and equipment. You will performs inspections of vehicles to ensure compliance with all applicable Acts, regulations and standards. You will review crew work orders and external vendor invoices to analyze and identify repair trends or additional work that may be needed. You are responsible for evaluating and ensuring vehicle safety through preventative maintenance as required and all in compliance with all Ministry of Transportation (MTO) and Voyago's guidelines. You will utilize parts from inventory or order parts necessary through the Fleet Management software to make repairs. You will complete repairs in a timely manner. You will be servicing vehicles in accordance with corporate policies and procedures. You will repair vehicle heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC), cooling systems, performing radiator repair, replacement of cooling system components, water pumps, shutters, and hoses. You will diagnose, troubleshoots, repairs, and maintains mechanical and hydraulic steering systems and performs wheel alignments. You will accurately complete a variety of records, safety inspection reports and other documents which are required to ensure that equipment is properly and cost-effectively repaired and maintained. Your Profile You are registered with the STO as 310T Truck and Coach Mechanic or dual Mechanic *preference will be given to dual licenced mechanics You have ODP certification with A/C experience. You have experience and working knowledge of light duty diesel repair, as well as gasoline. You have superior written and verbal communication skills and sound organizational competencies. You demonstrated leadership, problem-solving, and team-building skills. You have excellent proven customer service experience. You have a valid G class driving license.
