Voyago is hiring Part Time Patient Transfer Attendants to fill current open position for our Owen Sound region Your Role You are responsible for the safe transport of patients via stretcher/wheelchair to/from a healthcare facility, nursing home, or private residence You can provide outstanding customer service You have excellent communication skills Your Profile You must possess the following qualifications: You have a valid First Responder Certification OR AEMCA, OR are working towards a Paramedic Diploma (must be finished year 1) OR are a Firefighter with Emergency Medical Responder Certification. You have a Valid BLS certificate or CPR Level HCP You possess a valid G class driving license You can remain calm in an emergency situation You have the ability to lift 250+ lbs. using a stretcher or stair chair with partner. You can effectively communicate in both verbal and written English. You are a safe driver with a clean driving record You can obtain a clean Criminal Record Search with Vulnerable Sector You have up to date immunization records and can provide the following records of: MMR, DPT, Polio, Varicella, Hepatitis B, COVID-19 (2 doses), TB Skin Test (Step 1) *must be valid within last 12 month. You can work 12hrs floating with a start time anytime between 6am and 12pm including every other weekend. You are responsible for the safe transport of patients via stretcher or wheelchair to and from healthcare facilities, nursing homes, or private residences. You must provide outstanding customer service while maintaining a calm demeanor during emergency situations.

Candidates must hold a valid First Responder Certification, AEMCA, or Emergency Medical Responder Certification, along with a valid G class driver's license. You must also be physically capable of lifting 250+ lbs with a partner and possess up-to-date immunization records.
