ETL Developer

Roles & Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain ETL solutions using IBM DataStage. Work on Data Warehouse projects involving data extraction, transformation, and loading from various source systems. Provide production support, troubleshoot ETL failures, and perform root cause analysis. Develop and optimize SQL and PL/SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects. Build and maintain Unix shell scripts for automation and operational support. Develop Python-based solutions for data processing, validation, and automation requirements. Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and stakeholders to understand data integration requirements. Ensure data quality, performance tuning, and adherence to development standards and best practices. Participate in code reviews, testing, deployment, and documentation activities. Qualifications & Skill s:Strong knowledge of Data Warehousing concepts and ETL methodologie s.Hands-on experience in IBM DataStage development and support project s.Experience in designing and building DataStage solutions and ETL workflow s.Strong proficiency in SQL and PL/SQ L.Hands-on experience with Python scripting and automatio n.Good experience in Unix/Linux scriptin g.Experience working with Hive and/or relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, or PostgreSQ L.Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skill s.Excellent communication and teamwork abilitie s.Ability to work in a fast-paced and collaborative environmen t.
