Reporting to the Head of Product & Marketing, this role is ideal for a commercially minded Channel Manager who enjoys combining market insight, product strategy, and cross-functional execution. You will play an important role in shaping channel-specific strategies, supporting product launches, improving portfolio performance, and ensuring local market needs are represented within the global organization. What You’ll Do Develop and execute channel-specific product strategies that align with local market needs and global priorities Analyze market, category, and competitive data to identify opportunities for product improvements and new product development Manage product assortment planning, pricing, profitability, SKU rationalization, and portfolio optimization Support product launches and line reviews by building business cases, identifying assortment gaps, and enabling the sales team with training and selling stories Collaborate with cross-functional partners, including Global Product Management, Sales, Supply Chain, Quality, Compliance, Design, and Digital Marketing Help shape packaging and online product content to support both retail and digital channels Work with internal and external partners to manage product quality, compliance, factory negotiations, and lifecycle planning Support trade shows and travel to the U.S. head office multiple times per year as required What You Bring Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing, or a related field 5+ years of experience in channel management, product management or similar role within a CPG environment Experience working with major accounts such as Walmart, Amazon, Canadian Tire, Winners, and Costco Experience in personal care and the professional haircare industry is considered an asset E-commerce and animal category experience is an asset Key Skills Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills Highly organized, detail-oriented, and analytically strong Commercially minded, with curiosity about business trends and customer behavior Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across functions Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment If you are a strategic and hands-on product professional who enjoys turning insights into action, we would love to hear from you. Compensation Salary range: $90,000 – $110,000, plus bonus eligibility, benefits, and Group Registered Retirement Savings Plan (GRRSP).
