Lead Valve Technician

The Opportunity Tundra Process Solutions is currently seeking a Lead Valve Technician - based out of our Fort St John Branch. Do you eat, sleep and breathe valves in various varieties? The Role * Field servicing of Ball and Gate Valves * Repairs and inspections of Choke and Control Valves * On-site and over the phone/email troubleshooting for clients * Repair of ESD Valves and Components * In-house repairs to Manifold Valves, Actuators and ANSI Valves * Pressure Testing * Forklift Operations The Candidate * At least 2+ years of industry experience in the Oil and Gas Sector * Able to work independently, as well as part of a team * Lives Tundra Core Values * Experience in pressure testing is preferred * Valid Forklift Operations Ticket * Experience and training in both Hoisting and Rigging * Small Crane Certificate is an asset * Valid Class 5 Drivers License and clean Drivers Abstract * Must be local to the Fort St John area or willing to relocate The Company Our BIG goal is to be the most trusted supplier of industrial process equipment in Western Canada – and we believe that we have the best people, manufacturing partners, products, and capabilities to get us there! The Lead Valve Technician is responsible for the field servicing, inspection, and repair of various industrial valves including ball, gate, choke, and control valves. Additionally, the role involves on-site troubleshooting for clients and performing pressure testing while adhering to safety protocols.

Candidates must have at least 2 years of experience in the oil and gas sector and possess a valid forklift operations ticket. Experience in hoisting and rigging is required, and a small crane certificate is considered an asset.
