About the Job Our drivers/technicians are responsible for exhibiting excellent customer service as it relates to the collection and cleaning of grease trap equipment. You will start at the rate of $32.03/hr and will have a yearly increase the next two years. We offer various early morning shift options with an expectation of 40+ hour work weeks (Overtime after 40 hours). All shifts start and end at your home base allowing you to go home at the end of every shift. Walker has a safety-conscious work culture, and we take care of our people. You will be well trained, and equipped to work in a healthy and safe manner. What You'll Be Doing * Must perform daily inspections to ensure the safe operation of vehicles and equipment * Responsible for performing collection of preprocessed product, grease trap cleaning and deliveries of processed product to customers * Adhere to superior safety culture and work in a healthy and safe manor * Promote and drive health, safety, legislative and regulatory policies and procedures * Participate in team meetings and contribute where appropriate to continual improvement of work processes and procedures * Focused on excellent customer service for internal and external customers * Mechanically inclined and able to perform routine vehicle maintenance and identify deficiencies in performance which will be reported to fleet maintenance * Ability to work shifts and occasional overtime when required * Advanced knowledge of AIT regulations Here's What You Need * Valid BC Class 5 Driver’s License with air brake endorsement * Clean drivers abstract and criminal background check * Certified Professional Driver Safety Training Course Certificate * Customer service experience is an asset * Experience operating a vacuum truck is an asset * Must be physically fit and able to perform the work involved and lift 50lbs. Exigences

Candidates must hold a valid BC Class 5 Driver’s License with an air brake endorsement and a clean driver's abstract. A Professional Driver Safety Training Certificate and the physical ability to lift 50lbs are also required.
