As an equipment operator with us the minimum responsibilities are: Operating heavy equipment such as: front-end loaders, skid steers and excavator Ensuring recycled material is sorted into the appropriate piles and loaded into trailers as needed Performing routine inspection and maintenance on equipment Ensuring a safe and clean working space for all operators and employees Promoting continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices Interacting with customers and Waste Connections employees to determine safe and environmentally sound solutions to service issues What We Need From You: 2+ years’ experience running heavy equipment Knowledge of heavy equipment operation and maintenance Ability to read, understand, follow, and enforce safety procedures Must be able to pass all pre-employment requirements What You’ll Get From Us: Competitive Wages: $33-35/h Full-time hours: 9-10 hours per day Monday to Friday Retirement Plan with company match; let us help you save for your future Benefits; Medical, Dental, Vision Perks, perks, perks!
