Schedule: TBD Pay: $27/hour Our priority is to make sure we hire safe pitchers that care about the service provided to the community. As a pitcher with us the minimum responsibilities are: • Assisting with the collection of solid waste by manually loading garbage, recycling, and yard waste into the truck on designated routes. • Assisting the garbage truck driver with backing and other maneuvers • Stepping on and off the garbage truck repeatedly throughout the day in a safe and efficient manner. • Following route sheets and instructions from the driver or dispatcher to ensure all stops are serviced. • Maintaining cleanliness around collection and dumping areas by picking up any spilled waste. • Performing basic safety checks on equipment and reporting any issues to the driver or supervisor. • Interacting professionally and courteously with customers when necessary. • Performing other related duties as assigned by the driver or supervisor.
