Reporting to the general foreman you will work following given instructions to produce high quality painting results What you will do: * Estimate the quantity of material required by measuring surfaces or reviewing a work order * Prepare the surface by cleaning, filling nail holes and cracks, and sanding rough spots to smooth the area for painting * Use brushes, rollers or spray guns to apply liquid coatings such as paint,. * Apply an undercoat primer or sealer before painting * Use premixed paints, or by mixing colour and pigment with oil and thinning and drying additives, to match specified colours * Using wire wheel to remove imperfections in the plate and weld. * Apply finishes that are sponged, ragged and layered Sound Familiar: * Completion of Grade 10 (Preference will be given to high school graduates.) * Experience in Industrial Painting is considered an asset * Some Fabrication skill preferred * Interpersonal skills to work collaboratively and cooperatively with others * Time management, organizational and problem-solving skills * Excellent safety record Bonus Round! The industrial spray painter is responsible for preparing surfaces and applying high-quality liquid coatings using brushes, rollers, or spray guns. They must also estimate material quantities and ensure all work meets safety and quality standards.

Candidates must have completed at least Grade 10, with a preference for high school graduates. The role requires passing a Level 1 fitness test and demonstrating strong safety and collaborative skills.
