Position Summary: The Finance Co-Op supports the day-to-day management and reconciliation of bank accounts and corporate credit cards. This role is responsible for ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies related to cash and credit card transactions. The ideal candidate is highly organized, analytical, and committed to maintaining strong financial controls. This role offers an opportunity to develop core accounting and financial reporting skills in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, with direct exposure to processes that support financial accuracy and operational efficiency. What you will be doing: * Perform month-end and year-end close processes * Prepare and post journal entries for general ledger accounting * Prepare reconciliations (inclusive of bank accounts and corporate credit cards) * Monitor and enforce credit card policy adherence, including reviewing employee expenses for compliance and following up on exceptions * Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations * Assist with preparation of provincial and federal sales tax filings * Assist with improving accounting processes and documentation * Additional finance duties and ad-hoc tasks as required You have: * You are a student pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree specializing in Accounting, Finance, Business, Commerce, or related field nearing completion * Previous accounting or finance experience is considered an asset * Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including Word and Excel * Strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to deliver excellent service to a range of business stakeholders * A high level of attention to detail, with a curious mindset and eagerness to learn * The ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment * Experience working in a healthcare and/or technology company is an asset The salary for this position falls within a defined range and will be determined based on several factors, including the candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and the needs of the organization.
