Wellness Republic | Toronto, ON Full-Time & Part-Time Opportunities Wellness Republic is a movement studio and wellness club designed around movement, recovery, connection, and modern hospitality. As a Wellness Café & Lounge Host, you help shape the atmosphere at the heart of our club. From crafting an exceptional coffee to preparing a wellness beverage or keeping the lounge beautifully presented, you help make every interaction feel warm, considered, and effortless. This is a hospitality-focused role for someone who cares equally about quality, presentation, cleanliness, and how people feel in a space. Key Responsibilities Café & Beverage Service Prepare consistently high-quality espresso-based beverages, teas, specialty wellness lattes, and other menu offerings. Serve cold-pressed juices, wellness shots, and grab-and-go items. Learn our menu and ingredients and confidently guide members through beverage options. Maintain consistency in taste, presentation, and service. Create a warm and personal interaction with every member and guest. Lounge Experience Help create an inviting environment where members can pause, connect, work, or relax before and after classes and wellness services. Maintain the presentation of the café, lounge, and surrounding member areas throughout the day. Clear and sanitize tables promptly while preserving the relaxed atmosphere of the space. Proactively notice what the lounge needs and take initiative to keep it guest ready. POS & Inventory Accurately process purchases through the POS system. Monitor beverage, food, packaging, and operational supplies. Restock products and communicate inventory needs to management. Support receiving, organization, and product rotation as required. Health, Safety & Café Standards Follow all applicable food-handling, sanitation, and workplace health and safety requirements. Maintain a clean, organized, and presentation-ready café throughout every shift. Follow opening, closing, cleaning, and equipment-care procedures. Ensure equipment, preparation surfaces, refrigeration, and service areas meet Wellness Republic standards. Club Support & Daily Standards At Wellness Republic, Maintaining The Environment Is a Shared Team Responsibility. During Quieter Periods, You Will Help Support The Overall Club Experience By Folding and restocking fresh towels. Checking and refreshing washrooms and changing areas. Maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of lounge and common areas. Restocking member amenities and supplies. Supporting light laundry and studio upkeep as required. Helping ensure the entire member-facing environment remains polished, organized, and guest-ready. What We’re Looking For Minimum 1 year of barista experience preferred. Experience with specialty coffee, juice, smoothie, wellness, hospitality, or premium food and beverage environments is an asset. Strong understanding of espresso preparation and beverage quality. Excellent attention to cleanliness, detail, and presentation. Warm, confident, and naturally hospitable. Comfortable building relationships with members and remembering preferences. Proactive and comfortable moving between hospitality and operational responsibilities. Able to remain organized and composed during busy service periods. Genuine interest in wellness, movement, recovery, nutrition, and hospitality. Availability for early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays may be required. The host is responsible for preparing high-quality espresso and wellness beverages while maintaining a clean and inviting lounge environment. Additionally, they support overall club operations through facility upkeep, inventory monitoring, and member engagement.

Candidates should ideally have at least one year of barista experience and a strong understanding of specialty coffee and wellness beverages. A proactive, hospitable attitude and a genuine interest in wellness and nutrition are essential.
